I’m so glad you found your way here. I’m a wedding coordinator who loves a beautifully planned timeline, a room full of your favorite people, and getting to know my couples well enough that we feel like old friends by the wedding day. I’m here for the timeless, romantic love stories and the couples who are completely, madly in love. I’ll be your built-in wedding bestie, your biggest cheerleader, and, yes, the person who will most definitely tear up when you walk down the aisle.
I’ve always been the person reaching for my phone to capture a moment, knowing I’d want to look back and remember every detail. Photography taught me to notice what happens around the big moments—the way someone looks at you, the care put into a place setting, and the people who made the day what it was. My background in social media marketing and graphic design gave me more ways to bring those details to life.
Eventually, I realized I wanted to do more than capture those moments. I wanted to help create a day where couples could be fully present for them. That’s what led me to wedding coordination: taking care of the details so you can soak it all in, knowing the moments you’ll want to remember are being captured, too. Then, I planned my mom’s large retirement party.
I brought together the ideas, the people, and all the pieces behind the scenes, and I loved watching her walk into a celebration created just for her. That was the moment I knew I wanted to do more of this.
I took the leap into events and began coordinating weddings in-house for several venues. Each wedding taught me something, but what stayed with me most were the couples I got to know along the way. I created Abby Medva Weddings & Events around the things I care about most: thoughtful planning, gorgeous details, and a day that flows beautifully. From a timeline that makes room for the moments you care about to vendors who work beautifully together, I think through the details so your celebration feels like you and unfolds the way you imagined.
I didn’t learn to coordinate by starting with weddings. I started as a teacher, where a well-planned day still had to work in everyday life. I wrote detailed plans, managed a schedule down to the minute, communicated with families and colleagues, and adapted quickly when something changed. Now I bring those same skills to weddings: creating timelines that actually work, keeping vendors and families informed, and making decisions when the unexpected happens. My couples get someone who loves the beautiful details and knows how to keep the whole day moving around them.
I want to know more than your wedding colors and ceremony time.
Tell me what you’re looking forward to most, which details feel especially meaningful, and what’s keeping you up at night. I’ll get to know your vision, help you make decisions, and create a plan that lets you feel good about the day ahead.
When the wedding arrives, you’ll probably spot me with my Stanley, a Celsius, and my pink iPad. I’ll be checking in with vendors, keeping an eye on the timeline, and making sure your tables are set up the way you pictured them. You can focus on being with your people and taking in the day you’ve spent so long imagining, knowing those details are being cared for.
My husband Brock and I met in college, and somewhere between classes, everyday adventures, and making plans for the future, he became my person. He’s been beside me through every version of myself since then—cheering me on as I became a teacher and believing in me when I said I wanted to build a business in the wedding world.
Planning our wedding gave us two years of memories I’ll always treasure. I loved the little conversations about what we wanted the day to feel like, imagining all our favorite people in one place, and watching those ideas come to life. But what I remember most is standing beside my best friend, knowing I was marrying the person who had supported me through it all.
That feeling is what drew me to wedding coordination. Every couple has a story that brought them to this day, and I love getting to learn yours. I want you to enjoy the planning with your person, feel cared for along the way, and be fully present when you finally get to look at each other and think, our day is finally here.
During the month leading up to our wedding, I texted Abby almost once a day. She was absolutely amazing making sure that I had everything I needed. She made our whole wedding timeline which was such a big help and less stress on us. On the day of the wedding, as soon as she got there, she checked in with my mom who was in the kitchen cutting food up to make sure she did not need help. She came to me and asked if there was anything! needed throughout the whole day. It started pouring 2 hours before my ceremony. Abby was on the phone with tent companies asking if anyone could get there for our 3:30 start time. She refigured our timeline for pictures so that we didn't have to stand out in the pouring rain. She even re-curled my hair for me because it fell out due to the rain. The rain ended up stopping and clear blue skies stayed for the ceremony and reception. I never would have gotten through the day as calm as I did without Abby. She is absolutely amazing and 100% worth it.

"Once We Added Abby As Our Coordinator, I Did Not Have Anymore Worries."
From the moment we inquired she was available and eager to answer all of our questions and genuinely cared about how I was doing throughout the whole process. She spent time making a timeline to help us have the perfect day and spent time talking to me to help coordinate exactly how I had envisioned the day.
She truly made my childhood dreams come true of having a fairytale wedding. She also spent time helping all the final decoration details come in place the day before. Abby also helped to ensure everything in our ceremony flowed smoothly and worked so well with the whole vendor team to keep my day going perfectly. Along with looking out for me she also genuinely looked out for my husband and family throughout the whole day! I could not have asked for a better planner and truly couldn't have done it without her! I would recommend Abby to anyone you'll gain an amazing planner and friend!!

"Abby Helped Put My Mind At Ease From The Start With Planning My Wedding In Only 3 Months"
As a wedding DJ, I always recommend Abby and her business to my clients who are looking for an amazing, professional wedding coordinator.
If you hire Abby, I guarantee you will be 100% satisfied. You won't have to worry about the details-she will make sure your wedding day goes exactly as planned and will go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. And if something does go wrong, she will handle it immediately and professionally. In fact, I'm sure there have been many times when the bride and groom never even knew there was an issue because Abbey had already taken care of it before it ever became their problem.
Even if hiring a coordinator feels like it might be outside your budget, I highly recommend finding a way to make it work. The amount of stress, time, and headaches she will save you is worth every penny. By the end of your wedding night, you'll understand exactly why.
